Translational core

Overall aim

The Translational Core is dedicated to bring epidemiological research to the bench and/or bedside, and vice versa. This includes translating observations into functional studies and clinical implementations, but also taking insights from patients or experiments and testing these in large populations.

  • Functional follow up of observational findings, e.g. cellular assays or animal models.
  • Clinical implementation of promising biomarkers
  • Validating experimental models on a population-level
